Best Boston Yoga Studio

What do you look for in a yoga studio? For us it comes down to a number of factors: value, quality of instruction, studio quality, and community. This is the basis for our updated list of the best yoga studios in Boston and the surrounding area.

Coolidge Corner Yoga – The Best of the Best

A truly amazing yoga studio, both for the studio itself and the instructors who engage with students. Coolidge Corner Yoga offers one of the most invigorating and clean studios we have seen at PYF. The minute you walk up the steps to their studio, you are greeted by phenomenal staff who truly care about their students.

We recommend Coolidge Corner Yoga for the aspiring beginner, all the way to the aspiring instructor (they offer teacher training). A truly amazing yoga experience awaits you at this studio.

Studio U – Best Suburban Studio / Best Multi-Location Studio

If you are looking for a studio in the suburbs (Metro West region of Boston), do yourself a favor and check out Studio U for yoga and fitness classes alike.  With locations off Comm Ave in Boston, as well as Newton, this studio made the list of the best suburban and multi-location studios by providing consistency and clean spaces, as well as fantastic instruction. We recommend checking out the yoga class (of course!) but also highly recommend some of the more upbeat fitness classes. You can’t miss if you choose this studio – great service, great space, and even better instruction.

Coolidge Corner Yoga – The Best Value

Located a bit outside of Boston proper, the Coolidge Corner Yoga studio is a great place for people who are looking to try yoga (or try a new studio) but do not want to financially commit too much. This studio has the best value available – with a $30 for 30 days of unlimited yoga package. You heard it hear!

Back Bay Yoga – Best Alternative Yoga Class

Back Bay Yoga is a great studio. Owned and run by YogaWorks, this studio offers fundamental yoga classes, but also spices things up with classes like Hip Hop Yoga with a live DJ! It’s always fun to experience new yoga styles and remind yourself that aside from the calm yoga can produce, it should also be fun.

Most of these studios rent yoga mats, but there is always benefit to having your own yoga mat. Especially when it is the Best Yoga Mat for Earth on Earth.
